Rapper Lil Durk Given 2 Keys To The City Of Chicago Days Before His Arrest On Murder-For-Hire Scheme

Posted • November 2, 2024: Rapper, hip-hop artist and "Broadway Girls" performer Lil Durk has been arrested on murder-for-hire charges in Florida. Lil Durk, a 32-year-old Grammy Award-winning artist, was arrested on Thursday and is now being held without bail in a jail in Broward County, Florida. He is currently awaiting transfer to U.S. Marshals, USA TODAY reported. Lil Durk, born Durk Banks, is a Chicago-bred rapper known for his hit songs with Morgan Wallen, "Broadway Girls" and "Stand By Me," "Laugh Now Cry Later" with Drake and "All My Life" alongside J. Cole. He's recently made waves in the country music community for working with Wallen to combine elements of hip-hop with the sounds of country pop.
