Roofers Live Fully Off-Grid In Their Yellow Van - It's Nicer Than Your House!

In this video, we meet Tash and Connor, aka Carramello, a couple living full-time in their self built yellow Mercedes Vario Van. With over two years on the road, Tash and Connor have transformed their van into a luxury mobile home that fits their adventurous, off-grid lifestyle. As self-employed roofers, their van also doubles as a mobile work base, giving them the freedom to travel and park at job sites while enjoying the comforts of home.

They share their motivation for choosing life on the road over a traditional mortgage, highlighting the freedom, cost savings, and flexibility it provides. From their spacious “garage” for bikes to their 280L water tank and solar-powered system, every detail in the van has been customized for comfort and efficiency.
