Russian Soviet military graves

A visit to Tidworth Military cemetery in Wiltshire to show my respects to all military graves. Pleased to report the three #Soviet #military graves were clean and well kept. with Red Rose's on each of the three graves. It was overcast and the sun appeared for a couple of minutes right on the three grave stones. I reflected the struggle the three Soviet soilders went through after escaping from the Nazi's on Alderney POW camp over a 1,000 people died maybe many 1000s more under the "brutality, sadism and murder" of Nazi SS rule on the northernmost of the inhabited Channel Islands # Alderney British Soil. The many camps were run by the Nazi SS. The soldiers hid after escaping and were eventually treated in a British military hospital all three died of their injury's from the treatment of the Nazi SS on the channle island. No one has ever been brought to justice for the holocaust on Alderney.many have claimed more were killed at the hands of the SS in Alderney. what ever the story the three are remembered by the #Russian government with fresh flowers on each of their graves the only graves in the whole British military cemetery with flowers on. Not one person interviewed not one prosecution not even one police statement taken with possible over 1000 maybe as many as 4000 Russian Soviet troops murdered on British soil.
