CA 2024 Prop 3 - Change Constitution to Allow Gay Marriage and Interracial Marriage

This proposition seems like a clean up effort to fix was got broken with Prop 8 about 15 years ago. Voters decided back then that marriage was only between a man and a woman, and that language was inserted in the CA State Constitution. Shortly thereafter, the courts ruled it unconstitutional. So this proposition simpily cleans up the text in the Constitution.

Does this whole thing seem weird to you that we have to have Constitutional amendments defining marriage?
