"The PBMs, the insurance companies, big pharma, big food, there is so many billions of dollars being made off chronic illness. The incentive systems here don't incentivize anyone to cure chronic disease, but 80% of chronic disease is preventable through diet, lifestyle and nutrition. But our system is not set up to do that."

"And it's so siloed off and compartmentalized. When you go see your primary care and they have six minutes with you. You know, these clinicians are trying to stay up to speed and there was a study done by Harvard and what they found is within 24 months of your clinician graduating med school, almost everything they know is antiquated."

"That is how quickly this field of medicine is moving, but it comes down to diet, lifestyle, and nutrition are never discussed. There's no training on that in medical school. And you ask why. because our medical schools are corporately captured. If you look at how we rank medical schools in academia, it's based off how many studies and research papers and grants they have. And those grants are based off of, are you willing to pay to play?"

"So Big Pharma is who funds a lot of these grants at these academic institutes. And again, we're eager to please the people who are writing the checks and we wanna make sure that we don't burn bridges and it's just human nature. And so these conflicts, that have been built into our system are creating an array of issues that we're now seeing."
