The fall fishing is picking up with the bass starting to move down from the upper river summer areas to their deeper wintering areas in the flowages and reservoirs.

In this video I was fishing a northern Wisconsin
river system and the wind was just crazy all day.
The forecast called for 14 to 18mph but on the water
you need to add at least 10mph, anyways if you were in the
open the wind would just whip you around and bow the line in
your casts so bad it was basically unfishable, the only way
to find any fish at all was to fish the leeward aka protected
backsides of islands and points, obviously this greatly reduced
chances of finding decent fish, but I did find some and this was
the best one of the day keep watching to see what happened.
