[033] Jameson Black Barrel and Tullamore DEW

I'm really covering two topics with this video. The first one deals with the various Irish "whiskies" out there that are flavored in some way. Two of these are Jameson Orange and The Whistler Irish Honey. While there *is* Irish whisky in each of them, in my opinion, they're not really true "Irish whiskies." Their ABV is less than 40% (80 proof), and the flavor infusion takes away from the true foundation of an Irish whisky's taste profile. I'm not at all saying they're bad! Some are good, some not so much. Just that I would shy away from considering them "Irish whisky" in a strict sense.

The other topic is Jameson Black Barrel as an "everyday whisky." Is it good enough for that? Can it stand up to my current favorite, Tullamore D.E.W.? It has been a while since I had a drop of Jameson Black Barrel, so it's time to find out.
