[028] The Tyrconnell and Sonderabfüllung 2020

I'm adding two new bottles to the shelves this week. The first is The Tyrconnell, a beautiful single malt that made me rethink my general reluctance to try new single malt Irish whiskies. The other is a very hard to find bottle of Sonderabfüllung 2020. This is a single cask, single grain Irish whisky that was produced for the very first Irish Whiskey Weekend held in Germany in November, 2020. I have bottle number 17 out of 228. An ABV powerhouse, coming in at 127.8 proof - but to my surprise, not as "strong" as I expected! Enjoy!
