[027] Midleton Heavy Hitters

It finally arrived! After weeks of waiting, I was finally able to meet up with a co-worker (and subscriber!) to take delivery of a bottle of Midleton Very Rare 2022. And oh my, was it worth the wait! As much as I always like cracking open the bottle and taking a first sip with each of you, I couldn't wait this time. I had a drop when I got home! So I decided to put MVR 2022 up against two other heavy hitters from the Midleton Distillery: Redbreast 21 and Gold Spot. Both are in the same *general* price range, although both of those are single pot still, where MVR 2022 is a blend.

No spoilers, but you can already imagine that of the three, you won't find a bad drop of whisky among them. Outstanding whisky from a top distillery, all three with their own personalities, and absolutely fantastic to sip on. If you can add any of these to your shelf, you will not be sorry!
