2 Corinthians 1:23-2:17

As Paul explains the reason for his change of plans, his heart was breaking for the Corinthians and wanted to spare them “another sorrowful visit.” Paul was feeling defeated. Nevertheless, Paul new that God was faithful and ultimately this situation would be a win for him, the church in Corinth, and God! Paul exclaims "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place."
