An attempt by a Russian soldier to evade munitions dropped from a Ukrainian drone, just as they are taught in training courses. Such exercises serve as a sort of placebo: their purpose is not to prepare the soldier for surviving a drone attack but to instill the belief that they have been given a set of knowledge and skills, which will provide at least a bit of confidence in battle. However, no amount of such "palmistry" can ever replace proper support—such as electronic warfare stations, fire suppression of enemy forces, adequate reconnaissance, and combat mission planning.
