Deputies Help Hypothermic Burglary Suspect...

Deputies conducted an extensive search for a burglary suspect out of Arlington. Upon locating him, they realized he was in urgent need of help due to hypothermia setting in from fleeing in the river. The deputy immediately began lifesaving measures to raise his body temperature and prevent further complications.

Deputies began walking him back and forth for more than an hour to help bring up his temperate while waiting on SNOHAWK 1 to deliver additional warming resources (dry suit, clothing, and blankets). Once dressed and warm, a rescue boat arrived to transport the suspect back across the river.
