The Berrima Axe Murderer: The Story of Australia's First Serial Killer | Historic True Crime

In this historical true crime case, we take a look at John Lynch, the first (and possibly worst) serial killer in Australian history, also known as The Berrima Axe Murderer.

Sent over on a convict ship in the 1800s, Lynch fell in with a group of outlaws before embarking on a murderous rampage that left at least 9 people dead, with possibly more we don't know about. Using the same tomahawk to murder each of his victims, Lynch was a ruthless killer who likely would have continued his spree, had he not been caught.
