Since Axel Rudakubana stabbed three little girls to death in Southport, England, Britain’s government has been clamping down on speech online. Yesterday we learned that the so-called “misinformation” was truth. Rudakubana owned al Qaeda’s training manual and had the deadly toxin ricin. He’s now being charged with terrorism charges. Just weeks ago, the BBC was writing about “false online rumors that the suspect in the Southport attack was a Muslim.” Some went to jail for spreading these supposedly false rumors. Now it’s clear that the BBC and the government were the ones spreading misinformation.
