DIY Sliding Deck / Dog Gate

My brother wanted a low sliding / rolling gate to stop the pet puppies getting up the side passage, but this design would work great on a deck or veranda too. Merbau decking is a great outdoor material and tough enough to withstand animal attention which lent itself well to this application. I used Kreg pocket hole joinery which allowed me to hide most of the hardware and using a guide box and rollers allowed for the gate to open all the way.

Trying something new and giving you a break from my over-complicated explanations this time, sit back and enjoy this easy, chilled out build you can knock out in a weekend.
