Charlene Nijmeh, Chairwoman of the Muwekma Ohlone Indian Tribe joins the StoneZONE to discuss efforts by the casino fueled northern California Indian tribes to deny her tribe the federal recognition that was illegally stripped from them in 1997.

When members of the tribe attempted to stage a peaceful protest in Washington DC, they were brutally attacked by the US police under the control of the interior department. They were also repeatedly denied formal meetings at the interior department to argue the case for their federal recognition.
