Man who attacked Pelosi’s husband sentenced to life without parole

California judge sentenced David DePape to life in prison without parole for breaking into Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s home and attacking her husband, Paul Pelosi, with a hammer on October 28, 2022.

DePape, 44, had previously received a 30-year federal sentence for related crimes. He was found guilty of aggravated kidnapping, first-degree burglary, and other offenses.

During the sentencing, Judge Harry Dorfman emphasized that DePape would never be paroled.

Although his defense attorney claimed DePape had previously led a law-abiding life, he took the opportunity to express conspiracy theories in court, NBC News has reported.
