Iran Triples Military Budget, 'Israeli Strikes Kill Over 150' in Gaza & Lebanon, 4 Idf Troops Killed

Iran's government has proposed to triple its military budget, its spokeswoman said on Oct. 29. Fatemeh Mohajerani announced a plan that would increase Iran’s military budget by 200% at a news conference in Tehran. However, Mohajerani did not elaborate and Tehran has not disclosed any figures. According to Iran's official IRNA news agency, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) receives the highest portion of the military budget. According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) think tank, Iran's military spending in 2023 was about $10.3 billion.
