whispers of the twilight

**Whispers of the Twilight**

In shadows deep where silence dwells,
Where specters weave their whispered spells,
The moon, a ghostly silver seam,
Unravels night’s eternal dream.

Upon the crumbling, ancient stone,
Where echoes of the lost intone,
A raven’s cry, a mournful tune,
Calls forth the dread of waning moon.

The trees, like fingers, grasp the air,
Their branches twisting in despair;
While winds, like mourners, softly sigh,
As if they too lament the sky.

In every breath, a tale untold,
Of hearts once warm now draped in cold,
Where love and madness intertwine,
In twilight’s grip, both dark and fine.

So wander forth, dear soul, beware,
The shadows linger everywhere;
For in this realm where dreams are spun,
The dusk reveals what can’t be done.
