Venom 3 is Sony's Best? RDJ Recovering WHITE Guy? Superhero FAILS!

Venom: The Last Dance had the lowest opening weekend of a surprisingly profitable franchise. $51 Million domestically and $124 Million internationally isn't a bad haul and on the Sony side of the Marvel equation, good enough to be the most profitable outing for 2024. But in comparison to the rest of Marvel, it will come up short to Deadpool and Wolverine but little else from this paltry year.

The cope around the Blade movie delay/cancellation is still strong. Rumors are still swirling that it's totally not cancelled and they are waiting to get past the Multiverse nonsense before they make the film, but at what point do you just admit defeat?

Robert Downey Jr., the supposed savior of said Multiverse Saga, was asked about Elon Musk and his recent decisions. In general, RDJ's answer was fine, but the cringe of claiming he was making his statement as a "recovering white American male" just makes you roll your eyes and lose whatever faith you might have had left in Hollywood.

It's so over and they don't even know it.
