Thursday Bible Life Today Feast of Trumpets 11-2-2024

The Feast of Trumpets is on the first day of the seventh month of the Jewish religious calendar, the month of Tishri. We read from Leviticus 23 and Numbers 29 for the information about this Feast.
This is the only Feast that falls on a new moon, the first day of the month. Because of the difficulty of being sure of the first occurrence of the new moon, this Feast has been celebrated on two days. That is important to the people who believe that one of the ways the Lord will fulfill the Spiritual significance of this Feast is to come for the Rapture of the Church.
We discuss the pros and cons of relating or anticipating the Rapture to occur on a Feast of Trumpets. A particular passage that the Apostle Paul teaches about the Rapture is 1st Corinthians 15:51-52, where he says that it will happen after the "last trump".
