24 years ago today, 14-year-old Palestinian Faris Odeh stood alone in front of an Israeli tank in Gaza and threw a stone at it during the second intifada.

Ten days later, he was shot in the neck and killed by the IDF.

He became a symbol of Palestinian Resistance.
