The New Language in Directive 5240.01 - What Everyone Missed

This report discusses DoD Directive 5240.01 that was updated on 09-27-24 and the acknowledged update that many mistakenly claimed gave authority to the military for the use of lethal force on US citizens. Discussion will explore how lethal force on US citizens could still be achieved without the use of military forces and without violating any existing restrictions regarding the posse comitatus act. This report is provided only as a means of exploring the language used in this updated section of this directive that could indicate the use of language as a means of achieving hidden purposes. .
