Quarterback Upgrades
QB Matthew Stafford LAR The Seahawks defense has been inconsistent at best, so Stafford is a solid QB1 in Week 9 and might be for the rest of the season, with Kupp and Nacua back.
QB Jameis Winston CLE He has an aggressive mentality, and the Browns wide receiver group looks up to the task without Amari Cooper.
QB Bo Nix DEN He has some fantasy utility in 2QB/Superflex and as depth in deep 1QB leagues.
QB Trevor Lawrence JAX The Jaguars passing game is deep enough to keep Lawrence in play as 1QB league depth, as he'll have a lot of catch-up, pass-heavy game scripts going forward.
QB Joe Flacco IND Shane Steichen left open the possibility of Flacco starting in Week 9, so we should assume it is likely.
QB Derek Carr NO Carr is expected to return this week to a Saints offense that is sorely missing him

Running Back Upgrades
RB Blake Corum LAR The heavy workload and injury history for Kyren Williams, and the Rams offense is coming back to life.
RB Jaylen Wright MIA Wright should be a priority bench stash if he's out there.
RB Isaac Guerendo SF injury-upside stash behind McCaffrey makes him rosterable if bench size allows.
RB MarShawn Lloyd GB Lloyd is eligible to be activated from injured reserve this week. Even though he could be third on the depth chart stash him!

Wide Receiver Upgrades
WR Cedric Tillman CLE He was the top target for Jameis Winston and caught two scores, including the game-winner.
WR Josh Downs IND The possibility of Joe Flacco starting would make him into an every week start
WR Keon Coleman BUF . Coleman has a good matchup in Week 9 against the Dolphins.
WR Jauan Jennings SF Jennings has shown his ceiling when he's a primary option, so he should be carried through the bye.
WR Elijah Moore CLE Moore is going to be the short-range possession target
WR Jerry Jeudy CLE He's a flex against the Chargers.

TE Mike Gesicki CIN If Higgins can't play in Week 9, Gesicki will be a good spot start against a Raiders defense that just gave up Travis Kelce's biggest game of the season.
TE Tyler Conklin NYJ Conklin has scored in two straight weeks.
TE Adam Trautman DEN He could be on the way up.
