The Heavenlies

In Ephesians, the Lord declares that He has raised Christians and seated them in the Heavenlies with Jesus. Most translations say that we are seated in the Heavenly places, but the word places has been added by the translators. The Greek word behind what might better be translated Heavenlies, is a word that mean beyond the sky or out there somewhere.

So, it is not a very scientifically technical term. What does that mean, the Heavenlies? Where is it? How do we get there? Can we be in the Heavenlies and also still be alive on planet Earth? Could this related to how we live in Jesus and let Him live in us?

Ephesians also talks about being blessed with every spiritual blessing in the Heavenlies. What are those blessings and to we have to go somewhere other than Earth to get them? The Greek word for blessings here interesting in that its literal meaning is totally different from how people of the time of Jesus used the word.
