Michael was born in Montreal, Canada on February 26, 1963
His interest in Astrology emerged naturally as a teenager starting at age 16.
A writing essay about it was assigned.

Here is the story:

I presented my opening as mild skepticism, then did a pro and con analysis of a dozen or so characteristics about myself.

Recognizing these to be surprisingly relevant, according to my nature to be interested in human psychology and guided by this hypothesis, I began to observe people based on either inquiring or noticing when they had their birthday.

I was quite a quick study and I read a few books over the following year.
I had then developed a surprisingly strong ability to recognize people's Sun Sign, simply by looking at them.

11 years later, after earning a double major B.A. in English Literature and Sociology, having deepened my studies in Astrology all the while, I decided that I would pursue a career in Astrology, at least as a sideline.

By the age of 30, I began to offer Readings for payment and by the time I was 35, I went Full Time.
My studies have been largely self-directed and I am also a Numerologist with a special emphasis on Birth Date Numerology, and have a strong and clear understanding of the connections between the two disciplines

To promote my business, I began writing a Weekly Horoscope in 1993 and have continued to do so, consistently, ever since!

Specifically, I am a Humanistic and Evolutionary Astrologer, which includes the full spectrum of predictive techniques, yet with emphasis on human psychology, authentic self-actualization and the evolution of the soul.

His work is supported by ongoing studies in spirituality, the human potential movement, and the psychology of self-actualization geared towards personal health and professional fulfillment. Dedicated to his clients and consistent with his focus, Michael has helped thousands of people to achieve greater self-awareness, inner peace, and empowerment, and both personal and professional clarity and success.

Michael is a Humanistic Astrologer, which means he is person-centered which aligns closely with the life coaching model. His work with people includes a strong emphasis on personal development, self-actualization, career direction and achievement, and finding the balance between inner (spiritual), and outer (material) success.

In addition to doing Readings for clients the world over by phone and internet covering a wide spectrum of interests and concerns, Michael also offers Life Coaching. Honoring both the themes and cycles of destiny and of free will, he supports his clients to successfully realize their full potential, with the deep understanding of their Natal Chart and within the realities of their actual life circumstances.

Destiny Fulfilled as Authentic Self-actualization

The focus is to identify not simply what it means to be a man, or even a fulfilled man, but to be fulfilled as the man that you are authentically. Our authenticity is often felt, but not clearly recognized. As well, beneath layers of conditioning and social expectations, it can also prove difficult to access it at all. Further, our destiny often includes karmic debts, as well as evolutionary needs that can be generally understood as life long learning and effort to fully realize and integrate. Astrology is an excellent tool to both clarify and accelerate this awareness and process. As well, it provides a map of what what and when, as with the timing of the cycles of destiny. In my experience, women tend to be much more interested and invested into acessing this knowledge. It could be due to a stronger, natural access to emotional intelligence. Yet, men can choose to learn to be more intelligent in this way. Ironically, it may be that to do so, men have to be aware of the value, and to give themselves permission to consider it.
