sweet curd recipe / sweet yoghurt - tips & tricks, no oven no pressure cooker
Ingredients:
• Milk - 750 ml
• Curd - 1/2 cup
• Sugar - 1 cup
Recipe:
• Put the curd in cotton cloth and hang it for 15-20 minutes to make hung curd
• Add 1/2 cup sugar in a pan and let it caramelise on low flame
• Add Boiled milk and sugar and mix it
• Boil it for 5-7 minutes on low flame, keep on stirring.
• Turn off the flame and let it cool down a bit
• Whisk the hung curd in a bowl and add it in boiled and caramelised milk
• Gently mix it and pour it in earthen pot or any pot
• Cover it let it rest overnight to set
• Next day, bake it for 15 minutes and put it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
• Super delicious mishti doi is ready to serve.
