Iran says it will stop strikes on Israel ... under one condition
1 year ago
13
Iran's military has said it will hold off on retaliation against recent Israeli strikes if Israel ceases its ground operations in Gaza and Lebanon. The statement is a more measured response than a promise made hours earlier by the Iranian regime that it would fight back -- suggesting an attempt to avoid escalating the conflict further. Iran says four military personnel were killed in the strikes on military targets, but played down the impact of the attacks, saying they only caused "limited damage." Cease-fire talks aimed at diffusing the wider conflict are expected to resume in Doha today.
