This episode brought great conversation with Mitch Maki - and he was here to share and teach. He works closely with the families of Japanese American soldiers from WWII. There are so many feels during this episode, with the way the Japanese Americans were being treated in the USA, and the way the men took the call to defend this country in the hopes that it would show the loyalty and desire to be Americans. https://goforbroke.org/

Chris Turner was here to share some of his new music! Chris has been very busy lately and is putting out some new stuff!! You can go pre-download the album on iTunes it will help Chris out tremendously. It’s an EP called For The Country.
1st Song: All in the Same Boat - This song ended up being the theme of the show last night. We’re all in the same boat for sure.
2nd Song: For the Country - Chris was at a Gold Star family event and learned about a soldier named Rockie from Dayton, Ohio. He went out to help his fire team and took 2 rounds to the chest and would end up losing his life. This song was rewritten from the original to include Rockie and some of his story.
3rd Song: Keith - This song was cowritten with Cooper Lane, who wanted to write a song about Keith Whitley and then it turned into writing about a personal friend that they’d never met, but they just called him Keith.

Things coming up:
