Stav Cohen is a soldier in an elite reserve unit of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces). After serving in the first Gaza War in 2014, Stav returned to Gaza on October 7 to defend his friends, his family, and his nation from Hamas after they attacked Israel in the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.

Stav explains what changed for him on October 7, remembers the friends he lost that day, and lays out why Hamas must be defeated. He also shares his thoughts on antisemitism in the West, and his experience advocating for Israel on college campuses across the United States, including the epicenter of pro-Hamas protests, Columbia University.
