Whispers of the Seasons: A Haiku Journey brings you into the heart of spring mornings, summer afternoons, autumn evenings, and winter nights—each scene a poetic glimpse into the cycles of life.
This journey, inspired by the simplicity and elegance of haiku, follows the delicate details of farm life: from cherry blossoms scattered by spring winds to the serene warmth of tea steaming on a winter night. Lyrics:
Spring Morning
Snow gone but I'm cold,
Cool wind piled cherry blossoms,
I can't find my broom.
Spring Afternoon
Plums begin to show,
Beetles feast early at lunch,
My battle begins.
Spring Evening
Fields sprout in moonlight,
A gentle rain kisses green,
I laugh over drinks.
Summer Morning
Jasmine's scent wakes me,
Pink sun surprises shy clouds,
Last night's wine keeps me.
Summer Afternoon
Dry soil hardens, cracks,
Blinding sun steely blue sky,
Tears fall on brown leaves.
Summer Evening
Crickets and night heat,
A cool wind blows, then thunder,
I sigh, smile then sleep.
Fall Morning
Corn shows silken mops,
The breeze is becoming cold,
Where's my wheelbarrow?
Fall Afternoon
Geese continue south,
Noisy laughter or dispute,
No time to ponder.
Fall Evening
Vegetable carts full,
Cold blue stars blink and shimmer,
I miss the crickets.
Winter Morning
An east wind blows white,
Windows gather snow and frost,
Where is my shovel?
Winter Afternoon
The sky remains dark,
The sun turns its back on me,
My feet crunch old snow.
Winter Evening
Black wind carries flakes,
Moonlight shines for a moment,
Steam rises from tea.
