Michelle Obama’s Emphatic Message to Male Voters Left Some Calling for Her in the White House

With less than two weeks to go until Election Day, Michelle Obama, the former first lady, joined Vice President Kamala Harris on the campaign trail for a rally in Kalamazoo, Mich., on Saturday.

Mrs. Obama asked why Ms. Harris was being held to a “higher standard” than her opponent, former President Donald J. Trump. “We expect her to be intelligent and articulate, to have a clear set of policies, to never show too much anger, to prove time and a time again that she belongs,” Mrs. Obama said. “But for Trump, we expect nothing at all, no understanding of policy, no ability to put together a coherent argument, no honesty, no decency, no morals.”

Mr. Trump appeared in Novi, Mich., a suburb of Detroit, on Saturday before campaigning in State College, Pa. His campaign announced that its own celebrity guest, Brett Favre, the former quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, would speak at Mr. Trump’s rally in Green Bay, Wis., next week.

Also on Saturday, Senator JD Vance of Ohio, Mr. Trump’s running mate, campaigned in Atlanta and Erie, Pa. Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota, Ms. Harris’s running mate, will speak at a get-out-the-vote event in Window Rock, Ariz., the capital of the Navajo Nation, before a rally in Phoenix.

There are 10 days left until Election Day. Here’s what else to know:
