Israel’s “Limited” Attack On “Secret Base Surrender To US” | Russia Warns Against “Provoking” Iran

One of the sites targeted in Israel’s airstrikes was the S-300 air defence system near Tehran, The New York Times reported. The NYT cited two Iranian officials saying the missile defence system that was targeted is located at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport.
Israel reportedly targeted a Russian-made S-300 air defence system near Iran’s Natanz nuclear site in April. At least three IRGC missile bases were targeted in the strikes, the unnamed officials told The Times.
Israeli drones also targeted the secretive Parchin military base on the outskirts of Tehran in strikes, the report added. The Iranian officials further said that one Israeli drone hit the site while others were downed.
Meanwhile, officials in Tehran rejected the Israeli army’s claim that it had successfully targeted 20 locations across Iran. Iran’s Tasnim News agency quoted a source as saying that the number of locations targeted by Israel was significantly lower than that.
