Unwanted Sexual Advances, Lewd Acts on Flight to Boston

Krishna Kunapuli, 39, was arrested after an Etihad Airways flight from Abu Dhabi to Boston due to his alleged unwanted sexual advances toward a female passenger, which quickly escalated to lewd conduct. Reports indicate that Kunapuli began by making unwelcome physical contact with the woman, including touching her hair, and attempting to photograph her without permission. Despite intervention from the flight crew, who instructed him to return to his seat, Kunapuli allegedly continued his disturbing behavior​

As the flight progressed, Kunapuli’s actions became more overtly inappropriate, with other passengers reporting further lewd conduct. Two male passengers observed Kunapuli engaging in explicit behavior under a blanket, which allegedly included exposing himself. The witnesses alerted the flight crew, prompting the staff to ensure safety measures and inform authorities to prepare for his arrest upon landing in Boston.
