New GHOST OF YOTEI Rumors Sound Bad for Sucker Punch and GHOST OF TSUSHIMA Fans

The announced casting choice was a cause for concern for many fans of Ghost of Tsushima and now new rumors are coming out to suggest the follow-up, Ghost of Yotei, was gender swapped.

Reportedly Suck Punch was going to make a direct sequel following Ghost of Tsushima’s main character Jin Sakai, but those plans were scrapped in favor of the new female lead, Atsu. Some elements from the initial concept remains the same while others have changed for the new direction. This isn’t by itself bad news; however, it does correspond to others hired by Suck Punch that set off alarms of their own.
