Hoosick River Canoe Trip (part one of four)

This is a video of a trip down the Hoosick River by canoe from Hoosick Falls, NY to Buskirk, NY. In this first segment, we get as far as Hoosick Junction and the Island there. The water was low and we were constantly grounding and having to haul our canoe (named the "Titanic") through rapids. The point of the trip was to shoot historical video of White Creek from the river, but we don't make it that far in this segment so this part is mostly about Hoosick history. The next part will cover Sancoick and get us almost to the White Creek line.
