241019 Pay Your Fair Share Demonstration - The Groton School

October 19, 2024 - Groton, Massachusetts - A group of Groton residents gather to express their displeasure with The Groton School for ignoring there letter requesting them to re-evaluate their PILOT (Payment in Lieu of Taxes) program amount. They believe raising this voluntary contribution is warranted, given the value of the services they and their employees receive as contrasted with the tax-free status of much of their property as well as the budgetary difficulties faced by the town.
