Miles Johnston is founder of the independent research project 'The Bases Project', first created in 1994, after interviewing a security guard, called Barry King, who was part of the various programs being conducted at the British underground military base, between the village of Peasemore, and the RAF nuclear base, RAF Welford. Other wise described under the number "AL-499".
Miles became an investigative journalist in 1994, after going in depth and deeper in his research on witness statements who had also experienced similar incidents as described in other witness statements from UAP / UFO phenomena reports. 
Interviews conducted by Miles Johnston convinced Miles to go deeper and The Bases was born, later to become known as The Bases Project.
The Bases Project has since collected a catalogue of interviews, lectures, seminars and conference material, dating from 1994 to current date 2023, and has been successfully running for the past 29 years, with some of the most important people within a far reaching community of paranormal research, globally asking some of our most frequently asked questions by credible witnesses to date.
