*Though Gabriella Faith never knew that Burn had the whole story, he did. He had found out the truth hundreds of years ago, how the 9th plague began when scientists removed the Nightmare Relief from Golbekitepe to study everything they could about it. Most were more concerned with the strange power source the relief held hidden deep within it, but one scientist, Traul Faith, was interested in the relief only for the scraps of strange DNA the relief had hidden within it as well. Traul's biological father, Xo Wu, had always been someone Traul had longed to have in his life. Taken from China to live in America when he was but a baby, Traul had been raised by his mother and a very nice step father who adopted him fully, let Traul take his last name and loved him as his own, yet Traul always felt that something was missing since his biological father was absent. Tracking down that man he found that his father was a scientist like him, someone who also was well connected to the CCP and able to have access to sites like Golbekitepe quite easily. Traul also discovered that his biological father was in the final stages of brain cancer and to try and just get a few more years with the man, but to also allow Xo the chance to get back his brilliant mind, Traul convinces his newly pregnant wife, Gabriella, to aid him in taking the strange DNA hidden within the Nightmare Relief so they can try to see if that DNA might create a miracle and cure cancer [AI Art]*
