The Latest LUCASFILM Disaster | More Bad News for the Rey STAR WARS Movie

Since Lucasfilm President Kathlene Kennedy announced a Rey Star Wars movie the production has been facing non-stop challenges that signify the production won’t move forward.

It’s not unusual for a Star Wars project to be axed before it's been produced since Disney and Lucasfilm have announced more Star Wars projects than they’ve made. However, the Rey movie was supposed to be a continuation of the sequel trilogy and one Kathlene Kennedy wanted to get made. With the departure of their writer, and the James Mangold movie moving up in the production schedule, it would appear there are not any plans anytime soon to produce the Rey movie assuming it gets made at all.
