$28 Million Bet On Trump To Win The 2024 Election Made By French Trader

A French Trader has bet a whopping $28 million on Donald Trump to win the 2024 presidential election, on the political betting platform Polymarket.
According to Polymarket, one of the large "whales" on the platform is an experienced French trader, who has "extensive trading experience and a financial services background." This same trader is in control of four large accounts, which bet $28.6 million and another bet coming in for $7 million that Trump will win the popular vote as well.
The info comes after Polymarket launched an investigation but found that "To date [Polymarket] has not identified any information to suggest that this user manipulated, or attempted to manipulate, the market."
The statement said the trader’s accounts were funded from a “well-known centralized crypto exchange.”
