Jaw-dropping clip of a sewing needle being removed from a cat's mouth

The term "jaw-dropping" is often used loosely, but this video truly deserves it!

"We are a vet clinic in Germany, and this video was taken by me, a vet nurse, during a procedure to remove a sewing needle from a sedated cat's mouth," shared Milena with WooGlobe. "The cat had been playing with the attached thread and ended up swallowing it.

"Luckily, the needle got stuck in its mouth instead of being fully swallowed."

The length of the needle (and the attached string) is genuinely astonishing, as it seems to go on and on when Milena begins pulling it out.
