Chad ministering at Lifehouse Church, Coffs Harbour Australia, in February 2024.

While camped at Mount Sinai the LORD instructed Moses to build a Tabernacle to service the worship needs of the Israelite community during their desert wanderings. The construction, dimensions, materials and furnishings provided to Moses can be found in Exodus 25--40, with many more chapters in the Torah dedicated to describing specifically how worship was to take place.

In this teaching, inspired by the 'Pray First' book by Chris Hodges, Chad walks us through the 7 Main Furnishings of the Tabernacle of Moses and encourages us to see how each of these items serve as reminders for us of 7 Ways to Pray ... one for each day of the week.

1. The Gate to the Courtyard: Give Him Thanks
2. The (Bronze) Altar of Sacrifice: Focus on the Cross
3. The Basin of Washing: Reflect on My Identity in Christ
4. The Lampstand: Invite Holy Spirit to Work in My Life
5. The Table of Bread: Meditate on His Word
6. The Altar of Incense: Raise Your Requests
7. The Ark of the Covenant: Be Present in His Presence

Key texts include: Exodus 25–40
