MAKING A PRIMITIVE SANTA & ELF (CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN OF CRAFTS DAY 19) INSPIRED BY PINTEREST

Part of my ongoing Christmas Countdown of Crafts Series and inspired by a photo I saw on Pinterest, make this Primitive Santa and Elf following these easy steps!

TOOLS USED:

Drill, mini circular saw, bandsaw, palm sander, hot glue gun

CUT LIST:

Wood for each body: 5 1/2" wide, 3/4" thick, at least 37" long

Santa measures 19" high, Elf is 18" high

Horizontal groove cut 9" from the top
Beard cut 13 1/2" down from the top to the bottom of the V

3/8" Wood dowels (at least 32")

Base: 6 x 6"

SUPPLIES:

Scrap wood to make the jig
Black spray paint
Clear polyurethane
Red, brown, black and white craft paint
Wood glue, hot glue, paint brush
Google Eyes
Red pom poms
Buttons
Painter's tape
