About Our Guest:
Dr. Christopher Flowers
Dr Flowers is a retired academic radiologist and clinician with over four decades of
breast cancer research and clinical trial experience.
He graduated from the University College of London, UK, and after training in radiology,
oversaw the breast cancer screening services in a third of the country of Wales.
Active in research and searching for better and innovative technologies to help women
with a breast cancer diagnosis, he was recruited to work as an Associate Professor at
the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) followed by the MoJitt Cancer Center
and University of South Florida. He then worked at the University of California, Los
Angeles (UCLA) as a researcher at the Jonsson Cancer Center.
He is widely published in peer-reviewed journals and invited chapter author in many
oncology textbooks. He also received many awards for distinction in reviewing, for high
impact radiology journals.
His breadth of experience in clinical trials and medical journal reviews led him to
volunteer for the WarRoom/DailyClout Pfizer and Moderna Document Analysis Project.
The findings from the teams and the reports he has individually written have led to many
