So in May 2024, Apple hosted an event that went viral. But while everyone's complaining about the iPad ad, startup CEOs have started panicking. Cuz the iPad has a new feature, that you used to have a 3rd party app for.

It's called True Tone.

Basically, it's smart document scanning. Most people use 3rd party apps for this, because often things like shadows get in the way and ruin the scan. But with the new iPads, the camera recognises when a document is in front of it, and takes lots of photos. Some with flash, some without, then stitches them together for a perfect scan.
