This is the World's First VR Shoe

So I first got to see try this when it was just a prototype, but it's improved a lot. The prototypes worked by first measuring your direction and speed of your walk. Then the computer in the shoes tell the the tank treads on the bottom of the shoe how to move in the opposite direction.

Now 1 year later, most of the problems are fixed.

Which is great news, cuz VR treadmills are usually super expensive, or private. The newest versions are a lot smarter. Like if you are side stepping, the shoes know this and don't move. Or if you are walking backwards, the shoes move forward. But most importantly, this works with almost any Unreal Engine game with UEVR. So…
