Ruger SFAR Accuracy (308) - Is it Enough?

Hey Folks,

As you know, I have a "new to me" Ruger SFAR - detailed some challenges w/the gas key, and I know from the prior owner this was sent back to Ruger and some parts were replaced. Since Ruger's fixes and my fix, this baby has been 100% reliable.

Now, on to accuracy. I've read, heard, been told that accuracy is 1/2 MOA at 100 yards, or 1 1/2 MOA at 100 yards, all with match grade ammo, and that out to 200 and beyond, up to 1,000 yards there are all varied definitions of "accuracy".

To me, can I hit what I'm aiming at within 3-4 inches of where I am aiming? That's good - can I hit almost exactly where I am aiming, that's great. Not with "match" ammo, but with factory or handloads.

Does the Ruger SFAR do that? You be the judge - these are all fired at 100 yards, most with a cheap 5-25x56 Cabela's SFP Scope, a group with a 1-8 Primary Arms LVPO. All on a windy day, with handloads, mixed headstamps, and factory 2nd bullets, ammo made on a Lee Turret Press.

To me, YES INDEED this rifle is accurate.
