ÇAL CAVE

Çal Cave is a cave located in the Düzköy district of Trabzon. the cave, whose construction was completed in 2000 and opened to public tourism in 2003, is at an altitude of 1116 meters according to some sources and 1050 meters according to some sources. A stream reaching a depth of 1.5 meters according to some sources and 50 centimeters according to other sources passes through the cave, which has a castle on top of it, during rainy periods. In summer, the depth of this stream drops to 25 centimeters. Located 11 kilometers away from Düzköy district, the cave is divided into two branches, one of which is 400 meters and the other 150 meters, 200 meters after its entrance. Your long arm is 60. there is a small lake and a cascade in the meter. From the chimney located at the end of the small arm, water from the doline flows. The accessible area in the cave, both arms of which are paved with wooden walking paths, is 8 kilometers. February January and February of 2018, 2,743 people visited the cave, which is visited by about 20,000 people in the summer.
