EU military chair on strikes in Russia: 'Politicians must decide how far they want to go' DW News

Chair of the European Union Military Committee, General Rober Brieger, told DW that from a ‘purely military point of view’ it makes sense to allow Ukraine to hit military infrastructure in Russia. But he acknowledged it’s a political debate and in the end it’s politicians who must decide. He also spoke on gaps in the EU’s military capabilities and on how the war in Ukraine is changing the mindset in Europe.
